Brilliant location, awesome staff and beautiful room. The location was perfect, midway between the sea front and train station, with everything in Toulon very accessible from this hotel. Lovely hotel rooftop pool which we, as a large group used as a bar in the evening. There were 12 of us (6 couples) staying at the hotel and everyone's expectations of the rooms were exceeded and none of us had any complaints. Staff were very attentive and couldn't help enough with the many queries that were asked of them. If we do return to Toulon there is no question that this will be the hotel that we return to.

My wife and I enjoyed a delightful 3-night stay in a Superior room. The location is unbeatable, right in the heart of Toulon’s pedestrian zone. The staff were incredibly friendly, and the rooftop pool was a highlight. Although we didn’t try the breakfast, it looked delicious. Plus, there are plenty of charming restaurants and coffee shops nearby for a perfect morning meal.

Such a calm and peaceful hotel in the heart of a city. Reception staff were so helpful and polite. Breakfast was excellent with a charming host and healthy organic options. If you wanted to you could sit on a balcony and view the city as you ate your breakfast. A small but very relaxing and well appointed roof terrace with a small swimming pool with a spectacular view of the city.

Lovely, friendly staff that were willing to help in any way. We were lucky enough to revive an upgrade, so we are very thankful for that. The pool and sauna were our highlights, everything was clean, and comfortable.

Staff is nice and warm, and property is in the center which is perfect to walk around main places of interest. Was not too expensive for a hotel in the center as we got to the place last minute. We will gladly come back again.

This was an excellent, friendly hotel, we received a free upgrade upon arrival which we were very appreciative of, especially as we had only booked the hotel a few hours prior. Very close to many shops, restaurants, the port and the train station. The rooftop pool was an extra added bonus, this hotel made our stay in Toulon!

Great hotel, which was pretty central to everything. The staff were really helpful and lovely especially Christophe the night porter. Great sense of humour. Good facilities too. We were able to opt in and out of breakfast to suit our plans. Good choice for breakfast.

We would recommend the Grand Hôtel Dauphiné in Toulon and will probably stay there again when we next visit the city. It is very centrally located in the old town and close to the train and bus station and the port. It is a small, friendly and welcoming hotel. A real bonus is the small pool on the roof terrace, which is above the 5th floor, with great views over Toulon and towards the port. Breakfast, which is comprehensive and very nice, is served on the top/5th floor. There is a narrow terrace outside the breakfast room so there is the option, subject to numbers, of sitting at a bar/table and having your coffee overlooking the rooftops of Toulon.
